S. Chaman Sonu

So, you want to know a bit about me? Well, I'm a poet and writer who loves to explore the world through words. I believe stories and poems have a way of connecting us, of making us feel seen and understood. I try to capture those real, raw emotions in my writing – the kind that makes you think, feel, and maybe even see things a little differently.

For me, writing isn't just about putting words on a page. It's about taking you on a journey, sharing a piece of my heart and mind. I'm fascinated by people, by life, and by all the little things that make us who we are. I hope my work reflects that curiosity and passion.

I've been fortunate enough to receive some recognition along the way, like the Outstanding Student Award from the Raza Foundation and the Fair Play Pledge Certificate from the National Sports & Physical Fitness Board. It's always nice to know your work resonates with others.

My Journey So Far

My academic path has taken me to some interesting places! Right now, I'm at Lalit Narayan Mithila University, and I've also had the chance to learn at:

I grew up in Darbhanga and now call Delhi, India home. It's where I find much of my inspiration.

For me, poetry is like a conversation with the world. It's a way to explore big ideas like identity, culture, and love, and to connect with people on a deeper level. I believe words can make a real difference, whether it's healing a wound, bringing people together, or changing how we see things.

I'm always exploring new ways to tell stories, to capture those fleeting moments of life. I hope my work leaves a lasting impression and maybe even inspires you in some way.
